Looks like a cross between an after midnight Gremlin, and the goblin from the front of the truck from Maximum Overdrive. It's gotta nice rasta look about it :)

LOLOL, nice description! Much appreciated :D

Or it could be an oni, a Japanese (or Chinese?) mean ghost-spirit thing - I've seen shot glasses like that!

That's awesome :D I actually have a skull shot glass my friend gave me for my 21st b-day ^_^

I switched to Folgers a while back... Maxwell House was hitting me with Maxwell's hammer (Beatles song) (gas, not painful but as scary as your mud-mug).

LOL. No, gas is scary and evil...my mug's comforting compared to stomach issues I have sometimes... I get you.

Folgers is yummers. I like to put a small teaspoon of Foldgers or Nestle Instant in my hot chocolate ^_^ yummy!

I've never tried Maxwell...is is good to the last drop? From what you say, it doesn't sound pleasant going in and out. I wonder what's in diner coffee...I love that stuff :P

All I know is that Mid-West diner coffee is the epitome of scary.... 'something Brothers' was a particularity bad one. Could've been the water too. Or too much chicory?
Maxwell House is aight, but they switched water supplies on us, now there's a lot more sulfur in the water, then those beans create bursting pressure :P
Coffee laced hot chocolate? Now that's a drug I've never tried O-o

Yeah, its really good ^_^ So far, Golden Angel is a diner that has pretty decent coffee for me ^_^ Not to mention good steak...yummers.

Oh geez, sulfur?! That's horrible :( Sulfur by Slipknot is a great song but not actual sulfur...yikes.

Speaking of coffee beans, I LOVE chocolate covered espresso beans---DE-LISH!!! :D

Haven't had an espresso choco bean in damn long time.. used to get them on cakes made in the next town over. Slightly more recently: Pepperidge Farm Piroutte sticks... the hipsters get them with coffee, with a mound of whipped cream and nutmeg on top O-o (I'm rather blue collar, so it's whatever coffee and whatever buttered roll/cream cheese bagel....)

Ooh, whipped cream and nutmeg, sounds goooood ^_^ Bagels kick ass, especially with cream cheese like you said and bacon...into a badass sandwich.

They put chocolate covered espresso beans on cake? now i want to try that...must've tasted awesome, the combo.

Speaking of Pepperidge Farm, I really liked the Pumpkin cream cheese frosting chip cookies they made for Fall...it was soft and chewy...so brutal :D

Think I've tried those pumpkin cookies... eh, I got a gummy Entemmen's donut variety pack, but I'm not complaining. Money's tight, so whatever I can bake will have to do from here on out. Really need to be in the mood to bake (is that weird for a guy to say?)

Nah, that's pretty cool if you bake. You save some dough and get to make stuff. And your home gets warm and toasty :) whenever mom bakes, it smells amazing and the rooms are warmer.

Have you baked anything? Anything you want to try baking?

One thing I'll say about having a cup (or a sip) of Folgers in the morning... instant jog to the bathroom :| Never had that problem with tea; seemed to give me a little time before the caffeine kicked in.

Tea is awesome. Chamomile' s my favorite.

Earl grey kicks butt, but it's hard to find a good brand, tho Twinnings used to be okay.
Nowadays it's just Nestea and mainly Lipton with honey. Tried honey in coffee and was pleasantly surprised.

Never tried coffee with honey...nice.

I love tea, I just tried this tea that I thought was chamomile but turned out to be some kind of
berry-ish, chamomile or herbal tea that's pink...looks weird when you add cream or milk (looks like milky flesh blood haha), but pretty tasty.
