VH1 was a tad bizzaro compared to real-lie 80's, but it'll have to do. What made it great were the "even number yeared" movies, elaborate and comfy gear, variety of hairstyles...
Every major college stages RHPS viewings... or some other culty films. Maybe it's more TV shows like Firefly, South Park or anime stuff like Panty and Stocking - I so hate not being able to go out :(

I never went to a screening, but, from more than a few at home viewings, I can say this: it's a horror alright :P There were so many culty classics from the 80's (my youth) that the movie itself is like ipecac for my tummy and soul.
So.... have you ever done the 'theater experience'? I hear there's toast and 'ceremonies' for the 'virgins' (those who haven't seen it with a theater crowd) :3

I have not had the pleasure of the theater experience of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I should really see it because I love this movie. Haha, ipecac...justh earing that reminds me of Family Guy...*sigh* good times :P
There was a lot of interesting things going on in the 80's, I watch VH1 just to see what was going on at the time XP.
